ECIL clocked turnover of Rs. 1000 crores each for the past consecutive two years.ECIL is the first IT Company to start a computer training unit for training its customers in the country. It has been a trend setter in industry and institutions, collaborated with the Central University to conduct M.Phil computer science programs, way back in 70s itself. This collaboration is even today a bench-mark for the collaboration between industry and academia.ECIT is the prestigious offshoot of ECIL and is an emerging winner at the forefront of IT education in the country.We are committed to refine IT education in India by our world standard curriculum, which will develop inspiring students into true IT professionals.Today large number of trainees from ECIT occupies key positions in multinational companies across the globe, standing testimony to the quality and depth of the instruction received.ECIT has regional centers at Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata with own centers in major cities and over 100 ECIT centers all over India. It has experienced and vibrant Knowledge Management Team. The faculty team is constantly putting their efforts in designing, upgrading, delivering and guiding trainees for Project Works etc. It also has Faculty Exchange Program under MoU with Universities.ECIT a versatile and active player in the sphere of IT education is spreading IT education to every nook and corner of the country. ECIT is now focusing on formal IT education in schools and colleges. In the current year it has plans to reach almost 5000 educational institutions like schools, colleges, polytechnics and ITIs.School EducationNew Delhi SchoolsECIT has successfully implemented IT education in the schools of New Delhi thereby setting the trend for the provision of such up-to-date training at an affordable cost. In New Delhi, 35 schools are being operated and about 20,000 students are part of the scheme. Under this scheme, the students from VI to XII classes are covered. We set up the lab, deliver the education and provide them with the course material, stationary. We are sure that with this initiative the capital city New Delhi will occupy a position of pride on the IT map of the country. The project is being implemented successfully. Under this scheme, ECIT has developed a core competency in the area of school education and is now capable of implementing IT education in schools of any state.Karnataka Schoolsin the state of Karnataka, ECIT has bagged an order for providing education in 150 schools spread across all the 28 district of the state. This program involves imparting IT education to 5250 student covering students from VIII to X classes. We provide them with the infrastructure to set up a lab; faculty is positioned to deliver the IT education to the students, course material and internet facility for the students. ECIT also offers training for the staff of the Schools in the summer.Uttaranchal CollegesThe Government of Uttaranchal is imparting IT education to the students in the colleges in various districts of Uttaranchal, through ECIT. The project includes setting up of IT labs and imparting IT education in 4 colleges, for a period of 3 years. We are offering DOEACC 'B' Level course to the students in these colleges, which is equivalent to MCA. There are around 400 students being benefited with this project.
