Green Dot Montessori School is a miniature society in which children live and work co-operatively, viewing the responsibility for education and preparing each individual, a skilled personality in life. Our goal is to help children to become well-rounded, spontaneous and become active in the process of learning. Dr. Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori Method, was the first woman to practice medicine in Italy and the lady behind the method who developed an approach to education that is based on the child’s natural desire to learn. Her observation during her medical practice in midst of children has helped her to understand that children between the age of 0 to 6 years absorb everything around them like a sponge, which she called as The Absorbent mind.
