Quickstep was founded in 1995 as a training organization offering various skills training programmes to adults. It began in R.T. Nagar, Bangalore and continues to operate there. We are an ISO 9001:2008 Certified organization. We have also received accreditation by National Accreditation Board for educational providers (NABET)-Quality Council of India. We are only one in the training and educational sectors in Bangalore and also in Karnataka. We are one of the few education and training organization in India who have received this accreditation. This accreditation is recognized by Government of India. We are also the only approved institute in Karnataka registered with NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology) Department of Electronics & IT (DeitY) Government of India, o conduct IT Literacy courses viz. BCC and CCC of the NIELIT. Quickstep is also the registered trade mark of the group, consisting of several organizations, each specializing in an area related to training. A common theme for all the members of Quickstep group is to upgrade job skills of the students. Quickstep has also a publishing organization, Book Direct, as a member of the group. Book Direct prints and publishes books and CDs required for own use of the training organizations. These are also sold in the market through booksellers. TOFEL(Test of English as a Foreign Language) International Students Each year Quickstep trains a large number of overseas students from all over the world. The courses are customized to meet the needs of the students who come to India to learn English as a foreign language, ITes training etc. Appreciation for Quickstep Quickstep has been able to earn the trust of students and well-known organizations. For instance Hitachi Ltd, a Japanese giant global company has arrangements with Quickstep to train their employees in language skills. At the moment employees from their Tokyo office are undergoing training at our R.T.Nagar branch. Quickstep has conducted hundreds of training programmes for MNCs, reputed Indian companies, PSUs, government departments, colleges and NGOs. We also sometimes assist them in recruitment at the interview stage. A list of some of these organizations is available in the enclosed brochure. The highly respected newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, in its March 2, 2010 article on ‘India’s Aspiring English Speakers’ covered Quickstep English Centre. The WSJ zeroed in on English Centre, among all other such institutes in India, to do the article. The article was based on interviews with our students and members of faculty.
