It gives me great pleasure to have this opportunity to write few words about my organization "SANITAIR SERVICES". My warm greetings to all. I started this organization in 2010. It is the most successfully run sanitizing company in Bangalore. Thanks to all our customers who believed in our service. I come from Kerala and have been successfully running a printing press in my home town for the past 15 years. In 2009, I visited Bangalore to meet my relatives and friends. Bangalore is the Fastest growing Metropolis in Asia with an estimated population of over 5.84 million (3rd most populous city in India). People from all parts of the world stay here for varied purposes. Day by day the population is increasing. Increase in population leads to an unhealthy environment resulting in dust borne allergies like asthma, sneezing, wheezing, red eyes and many more? which are commonly seen in our neighborhoods. Dust and dust mites are the major health hazards found in most houses in Bangalore. I realized that people in Bangalore are fast moving and are too busy that they hardly have time to think about their health or find a solution for it. As a social being I wanted to do something to save people from their unhealthy living environment. I went back to my hometown, did a thorough study and to my surprise found that indoor pollution is the main cause for the above types of dust borne diseases than outdoor pollution. People spend 1/3 of their life on mattress, which is the dirtiest place in the house. Then my study went in search of finding a solution to clean mattress and other household upholstery without mobilizing them and not washing. I found ?Sanitizing? is the only solution. I came to know about an organization in US who are doing similar type of service and have been successful. I purchased one machine from US which cost me more than One Lakh rupees and tried sanitizing my own bed. To my surprise the dust and dirt sucked out from my own mattress, which was less than a year old, was like a cake mix! I was shocked and taken aback. To convince myself, I tried sanitizing my friends and relatives mattress and got the same result. This made me think about the indoor pollutants found in major cities of India. I came to Bangalore leaving my family back in Kerala, to start this noble venture called ?SANITAIR?, meaning Sanitizing The Air.
