Sneha is a voluntary organisation comprised of a group of like-minded people with a common goal - to provide support to the emotionally battered. All our volunteers are highly empathetic, versatile, multi-skilled and come from different walks of life like housewives, teachers, engineers, chartered accountants, etc. We are registered under the Indian Co-operative Society Act. Our Beliefs It is our strong belief that a person, however emotionally down, has sufficient positive energy in him/her to help recover and take hold of his/her life again. We at Sneha act as catalysts to remove the emotional cloud, promote rational thinking and decision-making. Our Strength All volunteers are formally trained in lay counselling, some having experience of more than a decade. We have continuous guidance and support from our mentors, Wing Commander PRN Murthy and Wing Commander Dinesh Kumar who have vast experience in the field of counselling and training. Our Reach We attempt to reach out to all those who want to help heal themselves from the temporary emotional traumas and interpersonal conflicts that they may be experiencing.
