The beginning of Paras Group originates to the year 1980, from a small electronics shop in Chandigarh. Electronics trade then was at its nascent stage, and as the market grew the business of the group also increased and another retail showroom was opened in Chandigarh. Thereafter considering the increasing demand for electronic goods and to provide easy payment options to its customers the group started an in-house finance company.n order to get the benefits of backward integration the group then diversified into wholesale of electronic goods. A major boost to the business of the group came in the year 1993 when worldwide market leader ‘SONY’ launched its products range in India. The group was appointed distributors for ‘SONY’ in the region. Then onwards there was no looking back for the group and more electronics distributions followed.
