Ilayathendral was born on the auspicious Vijayadasami day in 1989. Over the years, we have done 1866 programmes within and outside Tamil Nadu. To add a feather to our cap, the doyen of Carnatic Music, M.S. Subbulakshmi witnessed one of our Sabha programmes in Chennai and blessed us to grow more. Another feather is that we have performed our show for Kunnakudi’s silver jubilee celebration in the field of music. The new year y2k was welcomed differently by performing a grand musical event at Valluvar Kottam for Manitha Neyam where special & physically challenged children participated. We have a blend of talented young professional musicians with versatile singers who can captivate the hearts of thousands of audience by enchanting old and new hits. A feast for your ears and eyes. Our enthralling music can be heard on happy occasions like wedding receptions, all get-togethers, temple festivals, birthday functions, etc. The most recent feather is that we have presented a grand music show at Kuala Lumpur and the world’s biggest commercial attraction – Singapore, where leading cine stars and playback singers participated. This is not the end. It is only a beginning. Our Ilayathendral Banyan will grow more.
